~ The Estimator - Public Construction will:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for public construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to develop accurate budgets.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to gather necessary data and address project requirements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, material costs, and industry standards.
Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids for accuracy and completeness.
Prepare and present cost reports and project updates to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with public construction regulations and guidelines.

A successful Estimator - Public Construction should have:
A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
Proven expertise in cost estimation within the construction industry, particularly in public construction projects.
Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
A solid understanding of public construction regulations and procurement processes.
