Fabrication Machinist (Night)

The night shift Shop Leadman will oversee daily shop operations, lead production teams, ensure quality standards, and drive continuous improvement. This role is essential to maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive work environment that meets production goals and supports customer success.
Leadership & Supervision
Direct and supervise production personnel, including scheduling, coaching, and performance feedback.
Foster a positive team culture emphasizing accountability, safety, and quality.
Production Oversight
Plan and coordinate daily work flow to meet production schedules.
Quality Assurance
Ensure products meet company and customer specifications.
Implement quality control checks and corrective measures when needed.
Enforce OSHA and company safety standards throughout the shop.
Lead safety meetings and training; Process Improvement
Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate production records and daily foreman reports.
Communicate production status and issues to management.
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training preferred.

• 10+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of machining operations (CNC, lathes, mills) and Vertical and Horizontal

Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical specifications using CAR system
Proficient with production planning and quality systems.
OSHA 10/30 or similar safety training.

Comfortable working in a shop environment with noise and machine activity.
