Head of Project Management

A growing professional services organization is seeking an experienced structural engineering leader to manage complex projects and strengthen client partnerships. This role combines technical delivery, business development, and team leadership within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the pursuit, planning, and delivery of complex structural or infrastructure projects

Develop proposals, including scope, schedule, and budget, and support project acquisition efforts

Build and maintain strong client and partner relationships

Manage multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, timely project outcomes

Oversee technical design, analysis, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards

Mentor and train junior engineers in design practices, documentation, and technical reporting

Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across multiple projects

Support construction-phase activities, including site visits, technical reviews, and issue resolution

Monitor project performance, timelines, and key metrics to ensure successful delivery

Qualifications
Required

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or related engineering field

10-12+ years of experience in structural design and project management

Professional engineering licensure or equivalent certification

Strong experience leading complex projects and multidisciplinary teams

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Preferred

Advanced degree in Structural Engineering or related discipline

Experience with structural analysis tools and design software

Knowledge of modern design standards and safety practices

Experience supporting construction or field operations
