Head of Operations Management (m/w/d)

Job Description
S eeking an Operations Manager to lead production, scheduling, safety, and team performance. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on flexographic printing experience along with a strong leadership background in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. MUST HAVE FLEXOGRAPHIC BACKGROUND TO BE CONSIDERED.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily production operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
Manage production schedules, staffing levels, and workflow to maximize throughput and machine utilization.
Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, operators, and production personnel.
Monitor and improve KPIs related to productivity, downtime, waste, quality, and labor performance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and support operational goals.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and support preventative maintenance programs.
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with planning, customer service, quality, and warehouse teams to maintain seamless operations.
Utilize Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and Label Traxx to manage production data, reporting, scheduling, and team communication.
Support hiring, training, employee development, and performance management efforts.
Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in a flexographic printing, label converting, or related manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience operating, troubleshooting, setting up, or maintaining flexographic printing equipment before moving into leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of production scheduling, workflow management, quality standards, and manufacturing best practices.
• Experience managing KPIs and driving improvements in productivity, efficiency, safety, and quality.
• Proven ability to build strong teams and foster a positive, accountable workplace culture.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and Label Traxx.
