• Previous experience in Medical/Surgical and Emergency Department holding
• Ability to float within the facility based on census
• Availability for every other weekend

Description:
Provide nursing care in a general medical/telemetry unit.
Deliver care to adult and geriatric patients.
Responsibilities include managing and observing telemetry monitoring.
Administer medications and treatments as per established protocols.
Perform assessments and document changes in patient conditions.
Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy and Social Services.
Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
Maintain IVs, administer blood products, and manage central lines.
Utilize skills for procedures such as phlebotomy, wound care, and telemetry monitoring.
Respond to rapid response and code situations when necessary.
Foster a safe and compassionate environment for patient care.
Comply with established safety and infection control standards.
Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Participate in ongoing professional development.
Adjust to dynamic work conditions and patient needs.
Work collaboratively with fellow staff members to ensure quality care.
