Genie Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Burlington, North Carolina.
Job Description & Requirements

• Shift: 12 hours, days
• Employment Type: Travel

ER/Psych ED RN – Days ☀️

• 3x12-hour shifts, 7a–7:30p; occasional 3p–3a shifts as needed
• Primarily assigned to the Psych ED at ARMC
• 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Epic experience required
• Experience at STEMI and stroke-certified facilities required
• Ratio 1:4; 58-bed ED, approximately 180 visits/day
• All ages; behavioral health, sepsis, cancer, stroke, and medical emergencies
• Up to every other weekend; holiday coverage as needed
• No on-call
• Must float to other Cone Health campuses as needed
• EKG competency exam required (2 attempts allowed)
• COVID and flu vaccines required; medical/religious exemptions accepted
• No locals within 50 miles
