Description:
This position is for a progressive/acute oncology unit.
It requires ACLS and BLS certifications.
Telemetry experience is essential.
A minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical telemetry experience is needed, with oncology experience preferred.
Candidates must have availability to work some summer holidays.
Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted.
Chemo administration is part of the job responsibilities.
Candidates will work 4-6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period.
The unit supports interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and pharmacy.
Patient diagnoses include surgical oncology and the management of solid tumors.
Candidates must float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital.
BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
Chemo certification is preferred but not mandatory.
References are required at the time of application.
Candidates must have clear eligibility for rehire if previously employed.
Modules may be billable and will vary by specialty.
