Maintenance Helper

Join a dynamic facilities maintenance service company as a Maintenance Helper, supporting a sprawling 200,000 square foot campus consisting of three buildings. In this role, you will engage in a variety of preventative and proactive maintenance tasks across the facility, including HVAC equipment upkeep. Additionally, you will assist with cleaning and janitorial tasks to ensure a pristine and functional environment.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on facility and HVAC equipment.

Assist with cleaning and janitorial-related tasks, including taking out trash and organizing spaces.

Clean filters and help with RTU maintenance.

Provide support in plumbing, installation, and painting tasks as necessary.

Deliver excellent customer service while performing maintenance duties.

Essential Skills

Experience in HVAC and facilities maintenance.

Skills in repair and preventive maintenance.

Strong customer service abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

EPA Universal certification or ability to obtain it (preferred).

Experience in a commercial or GMP environment (preferred).

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment

The position operates Monday through Friday, from 3/4 PM to 11 PM, with some flexibility and rare optional weekend overtime. You will work within a well-maintained campus featuring 300 HVAC units, alongside a Lead/Supervisor in a facility that supports 200 employees. Dress code and attire are professional to ensure safety and functionality in a collaborative work environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
