CLS QC Lab
$27.25 - $43 per hourActalent
Clinical Lab Scientist
Performs waived, moderate complexity, and high complexity testing on patient specimens. Correlates and interprets data utilizing critical thinking skills and knowledge of techniques, principles, and instruments. Involved in teaching and training students, new employees, and residents/medical students. Effectively performs problem resolution, equipment maintenance, reagent preparation, and test result data entry. Successfully and timely completes all required competency assessments.
Performs testing and interprets and verifies results
Required to adjust to fluctuating workloads
Performs quality control procedures and documentation
Performs corrective action as appropriate
Documents out-of-control situations providing details, results and corrective action taken
Follow procedures as well as perform and document instrument maintenance
Job Qualification/Requirements:
Associates degree or Bachelor's degree in one of the following: Medical Laboratory Science (formerly Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology)
ASCP or AMT certification
Experience in hematology and blood bank ideally
Must be willing to work in blood bank!
Fulltime and Part time openings available!
Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $27.25 - $43.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
