Job Description:

Position: Acute Travel RN - Med/Surg (8th Floor)
Location: Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown, PA

- Specialty Focus: Neuro Med Surg with a dedicated team for adult patient care
- Work Schedule:

7 PM to 7 AM shifts
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
Weekend rotation: 2 of 4 weekends, with options for straight weekend shifts
Patient Ratios: Optimal care with 5:1, 6:1 ratios

- Unit Key Details:

22 beds available
Equipment includes Mindray vital sign machines, GE EKG, cardiac monitors
EHR system: EPIC

Expectations:

- Certification Requirements:
- NIH and Swallow Screen preferred
- Experience:

Minimum of 2 years in a similar role
Competency in dysrhythmia required

- Training:

Dysrhythmia and math dosage test on day one of orientation
Comprehensive welcome packet and study guide provided

Desired Qualifications:

- Common diagnosis and treatments include:

CVA, TIA, inability to ambulate, seizures, common urinary, common respiratory, and rarely cardiac issues
Suitable candidates will possess strong communication skills and a professional demeanor
