Machine Minder (2nd Shift)

Shift Hours: 2:30PM - 11:00PM, hours may vary depending on operations.

(Training may occur during Day Shift 6:00 am - 2:30 pm)

Set up and operate heavy machinery and related gauges to perform various cutting, punching, forming, blocking, and processing operations

Knowledge of production techniques and have the ability to produce quality-building parts

Knows and understands all safety rules and precautions necessary for working in and about a manufacturing environment

Ability to operate computerized equipment and material handling equipment

Perform routine preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment and production tools as required to maintain proper operation

Mark part number, order number, number of pieces on parts. Attach identification tags as required for customer to have the ability to locate correct parts

Interpret blueprints, specifications, andother technical data and select correct raw material or semi-finished parts

Repetitive material handling. Repetitive climbing on and off of equipment and ladders

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent

Some knowledge of a manufacturing environment

Experience with side forklift, bander, nail gun, overhead crane, saws, stretch wrap machine, and various pneumatic equipment preferred, not required

Additional Information Site Address: 14031 W Hardy Rd., This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
