Shift Details
Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Cancellation Policy: Up to 3 shifts can be canceled during the 13-week assignment

Unit Description
The unit specializes in caring for a diverse range of patient diagnoses, including but not limited to stroke/neuro, cardiac (including Cath Lab and open heart), trauma, and general conditions such as DKA and sepsis. Nurses are expected to be proficient in multiple specialties to effectively float between the ICUs and TELE units as needed.
Required Skills
Care of ventilated patients
Continuous IV sedation administration
ICP monitoring
Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
Starting and maintaining IVs
Dress Code and Facility Policies
No facial hair
No acrylic nails or unnatural hair colors
All tattoos must be covered
No visible body piercings other than earrings
Earrings may not extend beyond the earlobe or be hoop earrings

Additional Information
Modules will be completed during orientation and are factored into the onboarding process. Average completion time for modules ranges from 3 to 6 hours and is non-billable. Module completion is monitored by the facility.
