As a Structural Engineer/Structural Designer at DLR Group you will be responsible for the design of structural systems from schematics through construction administration on a wide range of new and existing building types. We rely on all our employee-owners to apply their financial acumen to grow the Firm profitably.

Develop structural designs from concept through completion of construction for new and existing building types.

Prepare engineering design calculations and structural system layouts

Prepare detailed engineering reports and narratives

Act as a Structural Engineer-Of-Record (SEOR)

Produce construction documents using Revit

Conduct site visits when needed

Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural or Architectural/Structural Engineering

• Licensed Structural Engineer (SE) in the state of Florida.
• 7+ years of new and existing buildings structural engineering experience, including the design of concrete, masonry, steel, wood materials; Working knowledge of current structural software (ETABS, SAP, SAFE, RAM, ADAPT, RISA, Enercalc)
• Understanding of commercial building materials, systems, and assemblies
• Master's degree in Civil/Structural or Architectural/Structural Engineering

Licensed Structural Engineer (SE) in U.Experience and interest in sustainable building design

Experience with BIM including Autodesk Revit workflow
