Direct Care Support Professional - NOC Shift

Job Description
Provide direct care and supervision in a supportive, therapeutic environment while documenting and reporting behaviors, occurrences, and conditions. Support and assist individuals with personal care, daily living skills, and self‑help skills. Supervise recreational activities & outings, including transporting clients in the community.

Live‑in Staff
Work seven days on, seven days off. Live in clients’ homes throughout the Vancouver area, reporting to work on a Wednesday and finishing the following Wednesday. Each staff member has their own room and it is not an awake‑overnight position. Pay is $167.85 per day worked. Room and board are provided while on shift.

On‑Call Support Counselors
Work part‑time or on‑call to assist developmentally disabled adults who live in homes in the Vancouver area. Hours may range from 5 to 39 per week, depending on availability. Pay starts at $10.00 per hour.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; clean arrest record required.

Valid WA driver’s license with a good driving record.

Ability to be insured by the agency insurer.

Effective communication, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and a team‑player attitude.

Training
Experience is not required; comprehensive training will be provided.
