Panel Wirer - 2nd Shift

Panel Builder We are seeking a skilled Panel Builder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of electrical standards such as NEMA, NEC, UL, and IEC, and be adept at working independently without direct supervision. This role requires assembling and wiring panel devices according to electrical schematics, ensuring neat routing and bundling of wires and cables to meet established standards.

Responsibilities Maintain working knowledge of applicable electrical standards.

Wire panel devices according to provided electrical schematics.

Route and bundle wires and cables neatly and according to established electrical standards.

Check work to ensure error-free products.

Keep red-lines of any changes required during manufacturing and submit them to the supervisor upon project completion.

Maintain a neat, efficient, and safe workplace.

Provide all necessary tools to perform the job effectively.

Essential Skills Ability to work efficiently without direct supervision.

Proficiency in panel building, wiring, and understanding electrical schematics.

Experience with electrical wiring, blueprint reading, machine building, and electrical assembly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to follow and understand assembly instructions, including drawings, prints, and electrical schematics.

Capability to layout and mount components.

Skill in wiring assembled components from simple schematics and/or wire lists.

Occasional assistance in employee development and continuous improvement.

Work Environment The work environment is situated on the shop floor alongside other panel builders. The first shift runs from 6 am to 3:30 pm with flexibility on start time, provided the employee begins by 8 am and completes their 8-hour shift. The second shift operates from 3:30 pm to 12:30 am, offering an additional $2 per hour, although these hours are fixed. The workspace is climate-controlled and well-lit, ensuring comfort and efficiency.

Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of New Berlin, WI.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $54000.00 - $77000.00/yr.
