Civil Engineer
We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our full-service A/E Firm's Civil Team, where you will play a crucial role in site and land development projects. As a Civil Engineer, you will work on both internal projects supporting the Architectural Team and external projects with industrial clients. You will be responsible for seeing basic concepts and ideas through to completion with minimal supervision, while thriving in a team-based environment.
Conduct site feasibility studies and environmental analyses.
Develop schematic designs and coordinate engineering systems.
Perform site cost analyses and design development.
Prepare site construction documents and conduct specification and materials research.
Engage in document checking and coordination.
Conduct site observation responsibilities and field documentation and analysis of existing sites.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field.

• 1-2 or more years of experience in site/civil design, including familiarity with authoritative codes and regulations, subsurface utilities design, site grading, storm sewer systems, and land disturbance permitting.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software.

Experience in project management is advantageous.
There is a lot of room to grow and develop as an engineer and gain exposure to project management.
Strong backlog of work and this team supports projects across the country.
Contribute to a wide variety of project types.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Wayne, IN.
