Develops, evaluates, improves, and documents manufacturing processesDevelops and implements process control proceduresAnalyzes manufacturing process flows continually to improve quality, cost reduction, and throughputWorking closely with manufacturing department to develop, coordinate and implement technical training for employees.Helps Production with troubleshooting and resolving technical problemsGathers and analyzes manufacturing metrics and works closely with the Quality and Manufacturing organizations to define appropriate process changes.Consults with vendors about product specifications, arranging equipment, purchasing parts and material, and evaluating products according to quality standards and specificationsDesigns and develops manufacturing processes for enhancements, product changes, new products and related fixtures and tooling consistent with zero defect level and low product costDocuments tool drawings, design concepts, shop orders, and conceptsDesigning, testing, and implementing production process improvements that will enable Daifuku to scale as a business, eliminating both bottlenecks and capacity limitationsMonitor quality data to drive improvementEngage with the appropriate personnel in the identification and resolution of Corrective/Preventative actions to address Quality, Technical, and Manufacturing issues (Audit Actions, NCN’s, CAPA’s, etc.)Lead continuous improvement and lean implementation to eliminate waste, reduce process variations and deliver products to customer’s expectations- perform analysisWorking hands on and leading teams to drive operational profit through the implementation of larger and more complex waste reduction and throughput improvement projectsAbility to work with the database SQL and a data visualization software e.g. Power BI/ Tableau to collect and communicate the critical data with the stakeholdersData requirement gathering for IT related projects to increase the software efficiency and move the company towards paper free factory. Working closely with manufacturing department to develop, coordinate and implement technical training for employees.Helps Production with troubleshooting and resolving technical problemsDevelop manufacturing processes. Utilize cross-functional participation to ensure that the equipment and process and processes are compatible with the entire value stream. Early equipment management (TPM), workstation design, material presentation, standard work and single piece flow. Consults with vendors about product specifications, arranging equipment, purchasing parts and material, and evaluating products according to quality standards and specifications .Create and maintain designs, layouts, drawings, and documentation using SolidWorks or AutoCAD software.Works cross-functionally with different departments e.g. scheduling, planning, manufacturing, engineering and ITDevelops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control and may develop those techniques. (Understands and can apply Statistical Process Control (SPC)Works closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality to coordinate product changes
