Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night shift travel assignment requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care Med/Surg experience and an active CO or compact RN license.
Details

• Work on a Med Surg Ortho unit within a hospital setting
• Unit has 29 beds with overflow capacity for adults into pediatrics for up to 39 total beds
• Staffing includes a charge nurse, 8 RNs, and an ACT
• Patient ratio is 5:1
• Care for post-op surgical patients
• Manage cardiac drips such as amiodarone, diltiazem, and heparin
• Uses remote telemetry equipment
• Charts in Meditech EMR
• 13-week assignment on night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Requirements
Active RN license (CO or Compact) currently in hand
Current BLS certification required
ACLS certification preferred
Minimum 1 year of current acute care Med/Surg RN experience required
Prior Meditech experience preferred
No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
