Description:
The unit is a medical-surgical unit that focuses on patients with vascular diseases.
It consists of twelve private rooms and two semi-private rooms.
The potential maximum census is 16 patients.
Patients range from young adulthood through geriatrics.
Admissions may include other medical-surgical and telemetry overflow patients.
The unit has telemetry capabilities.
Staffing ratios are maintained at 1 nurse to 6 patients.
Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
