We are looking for a finance leader who can combine strong analytical capabilities with a practical, business-minded approach.

Have a meaningful voice in financial and business decisions

• Own budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and management reporting
• Help improve visibility into profitability, cash flow and business performance
• Build and improve financial processes and reporting infrastructure

Our client is a growing national provider of commercial restoration, reconstruction, renovation, roofing and capital-improvement services. The organization serves commercial customers across healthcare, senior living, hospitality, multifamily, institutional, office and other markets.

We are seeking a **Director of Finance** to provide financial leadership and serve as a strategic business partner to senior leadership and operational teams.

This individual will oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and management reporting while helping the organization improve visibility into profitability, cash flow and overall business performance.

### Lead the annual budgeting and financial planning process

• Build financial models and scenario analyses
• Analyze company and business-unit financial performance
• Prepare monthly management reporting and financial presentations
• Develop and monitor financial KPIs
• Partner with Operations to understand business performance and financial drivers
• Monitor cash flow and working capital
• Identify financial trends, risks and opportunities
• Provide actionable financial recommendations to senior leadership
• Evaluate business opportunities and investments
• Improve financial reporting processes and systems
• Develop dashboards and other tools to improve financial visibility
• Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate and timely financial information
• Lead, mentor and develop Finance team members
• Provide financial analysis and support for special projects as needed

### Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field

+ 8+ years of progressive finance experience

• Prior experience in a finance management or leadership role
• Strong FP&A, budgeting and forecasting experience
• Demonstrated financial modeling and analytical capabilities
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience with ERP and/or financial reporting systems
• Ability to translate financial information into actionable business recommendations
• Construction, restoration, roofing or other project-based industry
• Job costing and project profitability
• Working-capital and cash-flow management
• Power BI or similar reporting tools
• ERP implementation or optimization
• The ideal candidate is a **business-minded finance leader who can connect financial performance to operational decisions**.

You don't need to be a CPA or come from a traditional accounting background. This person should be comfortable moving between detailed financial analysis and high-level strategic conversations and should enjoy building better processes, improving visibility and helping a growing organization make better financial decisions.
