Lens/Glass CleanerNesco Resource is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Lens/Glass Cleaners for a temp-to-perm opportunity in Rochester, NY. This position supports precision optical manufacturing by cleaning, inspecting, and preparing glass lenses and optical components for production. The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, enjoys hands-on work, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where quality is a top priority.Pay Rate: $23.00 - $25.00/HourShift(s): B Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PMJob Duties:Clean optical lenses, glass components, and related materials using approved cleaning methods and equipmentInspect lenses for contamination, scratches, chips, and other defects before and after cleaningPrepare components for coating, assembly, or additional manufacturing processesHandle delicate optical components carefully to prevent damageFollow written work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality standardsMaintain accurate production documentation and inspection recordsMaintain clean workstations and properly organize materials and suppliesFollow all company safety procedures and PPE requirementsSupport other production departments as neededPerform additional duties as assignedRequirements:High School Diploma or GED preferredPrevious manufacturing, cleaning, inspection, or production experience preferredStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to handle delicate materials with careAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsBasic computer skills preferredStrong communication and teamwork skillsReliable attendance and positive work ethicPhysical Requirements & Work Environment:Manufacturing environment with exposure to optical manufacturing processesFrequent standing, walking, and repetitive hand movements throughout the shiftAbility to lift and move materials up to 25 lbs.Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity requiredMust maintain a clean work area and follow all PPE and safety requirementsNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
