Registered Nurse- Labor and Delivery, Pediatrics (Nights)

Job Title

Exeter Hospital is seeking a dedicated professional for a critical role within their facility. This position involves 12-hour rotating shifts, primarily on nights, with every other weekend and call depending on the need for call and census. Scheduling is done in 6-week periods. Every third weekend is required. Must have BLS-AHA, ACLS-AHA, NRP. Highly prefer candidates have C-EFM. Epic experience required. NH or compact state license required. 100 bed facility. Must have experience with L&D, post-partum and pediatrics. Circulate required, scrub not required but a bonus if they can. 2 days of orientation. Unit will provide navy blue scrubs. No gel or fake nails. Uses Omnicell. Patient pop: Level 2 maternity, community hospital. Ages: Maternal child, newborn, on occasion age-appropriate medsurg (less than 65 yo female). Vents: Phillips fetal monitoring, IV pumps, ICU medical Plum 360, epidural pump, PCA, glucometer, Unit specific protocols: IVs, RN bedside ultrasound for presentation, epidural Cath removal post-delivery, phlebotomy. 19 bed L&D, PP/Mother baby, Pedi unit. We have about 600 deliveries per year. Staffing/ patient ratios guided by AWHONN. We schedule a core of 6 nurses on dayshift and 5 on nights. Level 2 Maternity unit, Level 1 nursery. Deliver 35 weeks and up on the unit. OR on unit to perform cesarean sections. Must be separated from BILH for 6+ months to be considered. No locals.
