What You Will Do

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following recipes and guest preferences

Recommend cocktails, wine, or pairings based on guest interests

Ensure beverages meet quality and presentation standards

Greet guests warmly and provide personalized, attentive service

Take drink orders from guests and servers accurately and efficiently

Monitor alcohol consumption and follow responsible service practices

Set up and break down the bar, ensuring supplies, equipment, and garnishes are ready for service

Maintain a clean and organized bar, including glassware, surfaces, tools, and waste areas

Track inventory levels and report shortages to leadership

Adhere to all state and local alcohol service regulations

Coordinate with servers, barbacks, and culinary teams for smooth operations

Assist with restocking and barback support during busy shifts

Regular attendance in conformance with standards

May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs

Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings

Perform other duties as assigned

Your Qualifications Include:

Required :

Previous food and beverage experience, including at least 2 years of bartending experience in an upscale bar or restaurant.

Knowledge of cocktail techniques, beer and wine offerings, and responsible alcohol service

Excellent guest service and communication skills

Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout shift

Preferred :

TIPS or similar alcohol-service certification

Hotel or upscale restaurant experience

High School Diploma or equivalent
