Architect - Full or Part-Time

Overview A Cairn Architectural Designer is responsible for generating the architectural drawings required for permitting with relevant agencies and executing Cairn’s projects in the field.
This position is available for the *right* part-time employee, which will inclide the benefits package of a full-time employee; there is also the opportunity for full-time employment.
Performs pre-contract design in collaboration with principal and estimator

• Reviews design requirements and constraints and determines best design options for building the project.
• Creates building designs and highly detailed drawings using Revit software

~ Creates 3D renderings for visual representation of designs for field staff and clients

• Modifies and updates designs based on review comments from other project development team members and agencies
• Works within constraining factors such as town planning legislation, environmental impact, and project budget
• Prepares design documents for permitting
• Documents and keeps record of architectural designs and other relevant information required for filing purposes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of Revit software is essential
• Creative design skills
• 40-$50/hr Based On Experience and part-time or full-time employment
