Within the gaming space, we are the largest provider of Third-Party Player Proposition Services (TPPPS) for California cardrooms, recognized as the premier industry leader. We are seeking a Human Resources Director to lead HR operations within our fast-paced hospitality organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HRIS systems, benefits administration, payroll, workers' compensation, recruiting, and employee engagement. This candidate thrives building something from the ground up, isn't afraid to get into the weeds, and never loses sight of the bigger picture.
Lead all HR functions, including benefits, payroll, workers' compensation, compliance, talent acquisition, HRIS, and employee relations
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including gaming and hospitality regulations
Oversee HRIS system management, optimizing functionality and ensuring data integrity
Manage workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programs
Develop and implement onboarding, training, and talent development programs to enhance retention and engagement
Drive employee engagement initiatives, fostering a culture of inclusion, recognition, and professional growth
Guide performance management, coaching, and conflict resolution, equipping managers with effective tools for employee development
Partner with leadership to align HR and talent management strategies with organizational goals
Oversee recruitment and succession planning, ensuring strategic workforce planning and leadership development
Proactively mitigate legal risks by implementing policies, training, and investigation processes for workplace issues
Design and manage compensation structures and benefits packages to attract and retain top talent
Optimize HR technology to improve self-service functionality, data security, and HR service delivery
Bachelor's degree in an HR-related discipline or similar preferred
A minimum of 7 years of HR generalist experience partnering directly with senior leadership to develop, align and implement HR and organizational development strategies
Experience implementing strategies and systems for talent management, compensation and benefits, and HR technology
Expertise in analysis, critical decision making, project management, and process improvement
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR system applications
Prior experience in Hospitality, Entertainment, or Gaming with complex organizational structures
