RN Registered Nurse | Telemetry (MORNINGS)

Schedule:

• 12-hour day shifts
• Per diem, contract basis

Qualifications:
Current, active RN license free of restrictions
Previous experience in a Telemetry unit is highly preferred
Competency in rhythm interpretation, cardiac monitoring, and responding to telemetry alarms
Willingness to float to med-surg units as required
Strong assessment, clinical documentation, and communication skills
BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
Responsibilities:
Deliver nursing care to patients requiring cardiac monitoring
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, reporting changes promptly
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to implement effective care plans
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
Maintain accurate patient records and detailed documentation in the electronic health record
Support patients and families with education and resources during the hospitalization process
Float to med-surg as needed, providing comprehensive nursing care within RN scope
