Labcorp is seeking a Medical Technologist to join our team in Phoenix, AZ.
Work Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday 2pm-10:30pm
Shift: 2nd, this position is eligible for a shift differential
Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria
Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving
Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care
Perform and document preventative maintenance and quality control procedures
Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary
Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
~1 year or more of clinical laboratory testing experience

General knowledge in Immuno Chemistry, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Chemistry, and Hematology ​
Proficient with computers; Familiarity with laboratory information systems
Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs
