Job Description Hai Hospitality (Uchi, Uchiko, Uchiba) is accepting applications for Prep Cooks. In this role, you will serve as a vital member of our kitchen team to ensure a seamless dinner service and create amazing dining experiences for our guests. Whether you are new to your culinary journey or a seasoned cook looking for stability, we offer gainful employment and long‑term growth opportunities.
Responsibilities & Qualifications Communicate effectively with guests and teammates.
Detect and identify safety issues, complying with safety guidelines and standards.
Lift and carry trays, dishes, equipment, and goods up to 50 lbs; restock inventory.
Stand and walk for extended periods; bend, stoop, and reach to access various areas.
Work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment with a variety of temperatures.
Lift, push, or pull objects such as tables and chairs to reconfigure seating arrangements.
Use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently (ovens, grills, knives).
Maintain a neat, organized workspace with proper storage and cleaning.
Move quickly to respond to customer needs.
Work in close proximity to coworkers in a crowded kitchen or serving area.
Tolerate exposure to potential allergens and food odors.
Maintain a professional, hygienic appearance, including proper uniform and grooming.
Understand directives and communicate effectively with leadership.
