On-Call Registered Nurse

Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is seeking an experienced and compassionate On-Call Registered Nurse to support our Overland Park hospice team. This role is essential to delivering timely, skilled, and meaningful end-of-life care in patients' homesexactly when they and their families need it most. Respond to the immediate care needs of hospice patients and families during nights and weekends

Triage urgent situations and collaborate with hospice physicians to provide comfort and symptom management

Work closely with the interdisciplinary hospice team, community partners, and family caregivers

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold all regulatory and agency standards

Deliver professional, compassionate, patient-centered hospice care

Participate in ongoing training, education, and quality initiatives

Missouri RN License or Compact License

Hospice nursing experience preferred (Overland Park hospice experience a plus)

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Multiple Major Medical Plans (Medical, Dental, Vision)
