We are seeking a Pavement Marking Estimator to lead the development of accurate, competitive, and strategic project estimates.This role is critical to our successbridging operations, project management, and leadership to ensure we are bidding work that is both profitable and executable.Project & Scope Analysis
Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to fully understand project scope and requirements
Perform quantity take-offs and field evaluations as needed
Prepare detailed labor, material, and equipment cost estimates
Vendor & Subcontractor Management
Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate pricing from vendors and subcontractors
Collaboration & Project Support
Partner with operations and project management teams to align estimates with execution
Support project teams throughout the lifecycle with cost tracking, change orders, and budget alignment
Risk & Financial Analysis
Identify risks, cost drivers, and potential challenges impacting project success
Analyze historical data and project outcomes to continuously improve estimating accuracy
actual project costs and identify variances
Contribute to process improvements, systems, and estimating best practices
High school diploma or GED required; Strong ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and technical documents
Proficiency in Excel and estimating software
Experience with ODOT or DOT-regulated projects
Field experience in pavement marking or roadway construction
Ability to think beyond numbersunderstanding execution, risk, and profitability
Occasional field visits required
Local and regional travel as needed
