Hospital Supply Chain Buyer

At Texas Children’s Hospital, our mission starts with our people. Supply Chain Management Associate , you will ensure the proper stocking and delivery of all, including but, not limited to supplies, linen, equipment, and products throughout the Hospital.

Performs supply and linen logistic duties when assigned. Performs customer service role. Answers the phone within 3 rings and responds to pages within 10 minutes. Responds to all customer requests in a courteous and professional manner

• Receives, processes, and delivers DME, products, and medical supplies to the departments within established guidelines. Delivers products, packages, and ad-hoc supply requests and supplemental equipment requests to the designated delivery area in the requesting department
• Assists Biomedical Engineering Department with the recovery of equipment needing service
• Successfully completes duties and assignments as directed by supervisory personnel and as per policy and procedure

As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, all successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing in compliance with occupational health and safety standards.

High School Diploma or GED

• Required 1-year materials handling/distribution or customer service with preferred materials handling/distribution in a medical setting
