HVAC Warehouse / Store Manager

Job Type : Full‑time

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and customer‑focused HVAC Warehouse / Store Manager to lead the daily operations of our HVAC supply branch.

The Store Manager is responsible for employees, customer service, inventory, warehouse operations, deliveries, counter sales, and the overall performance of the branch.

During slower periods, we expect the Store Manager to be proactive, improving processes, organizing the branch, training employees, and preparing for future business needs.

Branch Operations

Manage the day‑to‑day operations of the warehouse and counter‑sales areas.

Coordinate employee schedules and daily workflow based on customer and business needs.

Oversee receiving, stocking, picking, staging, transfers, returns, and deliveries.

Ensure company policies, procedures, and safety standards are followed.

Inventory Management

Maintain accurate inventory and minimize discrepancies.

Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.

Work with purchasing and management to maintain appropriate product availability.

Provide exceptional service to contractors, technicians, homeowners, and other customers.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.

Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.

Lead by example in providing the level of service our customers expect.

Set clear expectations and hold employees accountable for performance.

Provide employees with the training and support necessary to succeed.

Logistics & Deliveries

Coordinate daily delivery schedules to meet customer needs efficiently.

Ensure orders are accurately picked, staged, and prepared for delivery.

Address delivery, scheduling, and service issues promptly.

Ensure company vehicles, equipment, and warehouse resources are properly maintained.

Coordinate with customers, sales personnel, and other branches to ensure materials are available when needed.

Branch Performance

Monitor sales, gross profit, expenses, and overall branch performance.

Take ownership of the overall performance and success of the branch.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Warehouse, branch, store, or operations management experience strongly preferred.

Strong computer skills and ability to learn company‑specific software.

Ability to safely lift and move HVAC equipment, parts, and materials as required.

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

HVAC distribution or HVAC industry experience.

Knowledge of residential and/or commercial HVAC equipment, parts, tools, and materials.

Inventory management and cycle‑count experience.

Purchasing or vendor‑management experience.

Ability to read and understand HVAC equipment specifications.

This is not a position where the manager simply directs others from an office. The successful candidate must be willing to step in wherever needed to keep the operation running smoothly.

On any given day, that may mean working in the warehouse, helping a contractor at the counter, coordinating deliveries, resolving an inventory or warranty issue, coaching an employee, handling a difficult customer situation, or working with upper management on branch performance.

The right person will lead by example and maintain high standards of customer service, accountability, teamwork, safety, and professionalism.
