Job Responsibilities

Create Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' specific needs and design tailored therapy strategies that enable them to reach their functional objectives
Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive function, and daily living skills
Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with other OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care
Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families through therapy methods to sustain continuous progress beyond the treatment setting
Evaluate and Document Progress: Monitor clinical results and modify treatment plans as needed, ensuring patients remain on the path to recovery
Education
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
Encouragement and support for continuing education or advanced certifications
Certifications
Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) licensure
NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) credential is mandatory
