Contract | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week | Day/Night Rotation | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in an acute Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of generally 1:4 or 1:5 on a 36-bed unit
Independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional patient experiences and outcomes
Maintain a strong commitment to patient safety standards and protocols
Communicate effectively across care teams to support coordinated, high-quality care
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in Medical Surgical nursing
Strong telemetry skills with the ability to independently read and interpret rhythm strips
Must pass a telemetry competency test on Day 1 with a score of 85% or better
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
