Exciting Opportunity in Critical Care!
Job Description:

• Position: Weekends Only
• Shift: 19:00 - 07:00

Unit Overview:

• Location: Critical Care Unit
• Address: 355 New Shackle Island Rd, Hendersonville, TN
• Number of Beds: 20
• Patient Ratios: 2:1 for CCU patients
• Staffing: Unit secretary available on days & nights, occasional tech support

Equipment Used:

• GE Monitors
• Alaris Pumps
• Puritan Bennett Ventilators

Documentation System:
- Meditech
Schedule Requirements:

• 36 hours/week
• 3 weekend shifts per 4 weeks

Floating Policy:
- Contract labor floats before core staff
Patient Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year critical care experience
• Meditech experience
• Current ACLS certification
• NIH certification

Advanced Skills Required:

• Management of arterial lines, venous/arterial sheaths
• Cardiovascular & vasopressor drips
• Care for ventilated patients

Procedures Performed in Unit:

• Bedside central line placement
• Massive transfusion protocol

Certifications Required:

- ACLS

Dress Code:
- Required uniform: Black scrubs
