Electrical Engineering / System Design

Assist in the design, development, documentation, and testing of Atec products hardware/firmware and
application programs.
Works closely with Electrical Engineering staff to develop hardware, firmware, documentation, and testing procedures using established practices while applying electrical engineering concepts and techniques.
Assist in the design and documentation of electrical hardware and equipment using digital, analog, and microprocessor based electronic components for military and commercial environments.
Assist in the design, testing, and debugging of firmware.
Exposure to programming languages (C/C++, Python, LabVIEW, PLC). C, assembly, ladder programming or CAN systems such as LabView etc.
Understanding of linear systems and components, Boolean algebra, digital analog circuits and fundamentals of electrical power systems.
Comprehension of electrical, electronics
(analog, digital) and electro-mechanical components.
Compile and analyze operational, test and research data to establish Acceptance Test Standards for newly designed or modified equipment.
Assist in the creation and execution of technical manuals, ATP's, QTP's, and ICD's with Quality
Coordinate and perform as necessary the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
Coordinate with Manufacturing when building prototypes.
Ensure activities are conducted in accordance with Atec International Standards Organization
(AS9100/ISO) policies and correct and report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.
Be familiar with and understand Atec Quality Policy and company objectives.
Participate in AS9100/ISO training as required.
Bachelor's Degree (B.in Electrical Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university; one (1) to four (4) years of proven experience in design and development of electrical/electronic
components and systems with a registered engineering firm; Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology

Employee is regularly required to talk, hear, walk, stand, and sit and use hands with electrical equipment.
Employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.
Employee is occasionally exposed to low- and high-voltages during design, testing, commissioning, and
Extended work hours and/or travel may occasionally be required.
