Machine Minder (2nd Shift)

Overview Job Location: Encore Wire McKinney - McKinney, TX 75069
Job Type: Full-time
Starting Pay: $17-$20 per hour
Shifts:

1. nd Shift - plus an additional $1.50 per hour
2. rd Shift - plus an additional $2.00 per hour

Overtime opportunities available. Time and a half! Overnight differential.

MUST BE WILLING TO UNDERGO AN ONSITE DRUG SCREEN

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepares and inspects the machine for safe operation
Maintains a clean and safe work environment
Performs other related duties as required and assigned
Complies with safety policies, practices and procedures according to OSHA
Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or safety team
Maintain consistent and reliable attendance
Essential functions and responsibilities will also include following supervisor’s directions and the additional requirements of the various jobs assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Previous manufacturing experience is a plus
Ability to perform Essential Duties and Responsibilities listed above
Reliable Attendance
Work Environment & Physical Responsibilities Duties are performed in a loud production setting subject to extreme temperatures. Some duties may be required to be performed outside. Comfortable with repetitive movement, kneeling, crouching and stooping. Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls. Requires lifting up to 50 pounds while bending, twisting and/or standing.
