JTEKT is actively hiring CNC Machine Operators to support continued plant expansion and increased production demand within our highly automated manufacturing facility in Piedmont, SC.
This is a direct hire opportunity offering long-term stability, growth potential, and hands-on experience working with advanced CNC machining equipment, robotics, and automated production systems in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

Shift Openings

~2nd & 3rd Shift

Off-Shift Differential: +$2.00/hr
Total Off-Shift Pay: $26.76/hr
Operate and support CNC machining equipment in a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment
Work with automated and semi-automated production equipment and robotic systems
Perform machine startup procedures and production quality checks
Troubleshoot minor machine interruptions and support production uptime
Use gauges and measuring tools to verify parts meet specifications
Support machine changeovers and production flow across multiple manufacturing areas
Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to support manufacturing operations
Prior machining experience in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated ability to properly use gauging equipment such as calipers, bore gauges, micrometers, and related inspection tools
Knowledge of equipment condition check sheets and production documentation
Ability to perform preventative maintenance tasks as required by production schedules
Ability to complete required quality checks and troubleshoot production stoppages
Ability to learn multiple production lines and cross-train as needed
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement standards
Ability to work overtime and any assigned shift as needed
