The Upper School Math Teacher engages students in grades 9–12 across a range of courses, from foundational to Honors and Advanced Placement. The ideal candidate inspires curiosity, fosters critical thinking, and helps students connect mathematics to real-world applications. Essential Functions Ability to teach a range of high school math courses, demonstrating the ability to cover the full curriculum, including Honors and AP as assigned.

Use graphing calculators, digital platforms, and interactive tools to enhance instruction.

Serve as an advisor once established at Bolles, building meaningful relationships with students.

Participate in professional development, meetings, and school events.

Model lifelong learning and professional growth.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or related field required; Minimum three years teaching experience, ideally in an independent school.

Ability to teach the full range of high school mathematics courses.
