The Quality Engineer (QE) will provide critical support to the Maneuver Short Range Air Defense Increment 4 (M-SHORAD Inc. 4) and SGT STOUT programs within the SHIELD Project Office. This team member will provide on-site QE technical guidance to the SHIELD Quality and Reliability Engineering Directorate utilizing their skills in the development, manufacturing, and/or sustainment of weapons systems. quality management systems and assessments

first article testing

factory acceptance testing

inspection and test equipment validation

root cause and failure analyses

defect tracking and trend analysis

Must possess and have the ability to maintain a security clearance.

An Engineering Degree from an accredited college or university is required.

Mid-level Quality Engineering experience supporting aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or highly regulated industries.

Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, or comparable quality systems.

Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Prior experience with Project Office is highly desired.
