Head of Programme Management

As a Program Manager with the Nidec Aerospace team, you will have the opportunity to apply and develop your expertise to help design electric propulsion systems for the battery-powered aircrafts that will enable the world to sustainably and efficiently get from point A to point B.

Nidec is the world's leading electric motor manufacturer and a true pioneer in electrification across a wide array of industries since its foundation in 1973, ranging from appliances, energy infrastructure, to ground transportation. Nidec Aerospace is a newly created Joint Venture between Nidec and Embraer, intending to lead the Electrification of aircrafts. We are well-positioned and excited to support the aerospace industry in its ambitious transition to net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.

We are seeking an experienced and driven Program Manager to lead complex, crossfunctional initiatives that are critical to our business success. In this role, you will oversee multiple projects simultaneously, aligning strategy, resources, and execution to consistently deliver results on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive program and project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and key milestones.

Provide strong leadership to crossfunctional project teams, fostering accountability, collaboration, and high performance.

Track project progress, proactively identifying challenges and implementing corrective actions to keep initiatives on track.

Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues in a timely and effective manner.

Promote and ensure adherence to established project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in project and/or program management, managing multiple initiatives concurrently.

Demonstrated experience developing and managing detailed project plans using project management tools and software.

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fastpaced environment with shifting priorities.

Working knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum.

PMP, PMIACP, or similar certification is preferred and considered a strong asset.

Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years of prior relevant experience
