Helms Home Care is searching for registered nurses who can provide infusion therapy nursing services to patients in their homes and desire to serve patients with compassion and personalized care.About Helms Home Care:Helms Home Care is a skilled nursing services company based out of Denver, NC. Our agency provides in-home infusion care to patients of all ages in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Indiana, West Virginia, Georgia, Maryland and Kentucky.Benefits:Competitive payMileage reimbursementFree supplies are provided for basic lab draw and infusion-therapyMultiple visits available to choose fromSimple IRA with 3% Company MatchUser-friendly technology to access schedules and make visit notesGreat opportunities for advancement and health benefitsResponsibilities:As per the Patients needs perform catheter access & care (peripheral IVs, port-a-caths, PICC/central lines), vitals/assessments, medication administration (Abx, TPN, IVIG, and other specialty meds), blood drawsProvide patient education on self-administration of medicationMake visit notes through electronic charting and submit promptlyRequirements:Current Registered Nurse license with competent in the duties described aboveMinimum 1-year experience in infusion therapy and/or catheter maintenance and careReliable transportation, access to a printer/scanner/fax machineMust be able to communicate promptly with our scheduling personnelExpect to do 2 visits per weekLicensed driver with valid automobile insurance
