The primary purpose of the Department of Psychology is to provide undergraduate and graduate students rigorous training in the understanding of human behavior using scientific methods, and to provide students with the competencies, knowledge and skills sufficient to: (1) qualify for graduate/doctoral studies in psychology and the behavioral sciences and; (2) qualify for a range of human service positions that require the application of psychological or behavioral science methods and skills.
The primary purpose of this faculty position is to teach in the undergraduate and/or the graduate programs, serve as an advisor, conduct research, engage in service to the unit, and contribute to the development of the Department of Psychology.
Ability to teach undergraduate courses and applied courses in the clinical concentration of the graduate program; conduct research; serve as a thesis advisor in the graduate program
Minimum Education/Experience

Develop and conduct research.
Administrative
Performs academic and administrative duties, including developing and maintaining Canvas course shells, preparing and updating course syllabi, submitting grades and required academic documentation, maintaining student records, participating in department and college meetings, serving on committees, advising students, and completing other departmental and university administrative responsibilities as assigned.
Other related administrative, instructional and service tasks as assigned by the department chair.
