Testing Psychologist

Licensed PsychologistReliable Healthcare Services is seeking a licensed psychologist to support the assessment unit of the division of child and family services (DCFS) in Las Vegas, NV. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of children and adolescents by providing essential psychological evaluations. This position will support the DCFS assessment unit. The psychologist will be responsible for conducting psychological evaluations in accordance with DCFS policy.Candidates must have experience administering, scoring, interpreting, and reporting on standardized assessments that measure cognitive functioning, developmental and intellectual disabilities, personality/pathology, adaptive functioning, etc. Psychologist should be familiar with the use of testing platforms such as Q-Global and Pari Connect. The work location will be 1901 S. Jones, Las Vegas, NV, and the schedule will typically be standard office week with some flexibility to occasionally work evenings to accommodate youth and families.Key Responsibilities:Conduct standardized psychological assessments for children and adolescents involved with DCFS.Administer, score, interpret, and report psychological testing data.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including caseworkers, therapists, and medical staff.Prepare clear, comprehensive psychological reports in a timely manner.Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold client confidentiality.Provide expert feedback and recommendations based on assessment results.Possibly attend team meetings and court hearings, if required.Qualifications:Must hold an active and unrestricted license as a psychologist in the state of Nevada.Preferred 1–2 years of experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical or assessment capacity.Knowledge of trauma-informed care and child welfare systems preferred.Strong organizational and communication skills.Benefits:Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement planPaid time off (PTO)Malpractice insurance coverageContinuing education reimbursementDedicated recruiter and support team
