Nurse - care - night - nursing

Progressive Care/Stepdown/Telemetry Nurse Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule 3, 12-hour night shifts (18:45 - 07:15)

Job Description We are seeking a qualified Progressive Care/Stepdown/Telemetry Nurse for a 24-bed Progressive Care/Stepdown/Telemetry floor. The nurse will provide comprehensive care to patients, including those with complex conditions, such as stroke and heart issues.

Responsibilities Provide care for patients requiring telemetry monitoring.

Administer medications and manage drips, including vasoactive and cardiac drips (no titration).

Perform central line care and blood product administration.

Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias and manage cardiac emergencies.

Assist in rapid response and code teams.

Implement isolation precautions as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in a Progressive Care or Stepdown unit.

Experience with charting in Epic is required.

Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.

Previous charge experience is a plus.

Ability to manage and care for complicated patient conditions.
