Head of Project Management

Job Summary Lead and coordinate end-to-end data center exit and consolidation projects, focusing on migrating legacy applications to AWS.

Key Responsibilities Manage project scope, schedule, and budget within the team.

Partner with application teams, infrastructure, security, and cloud providers to plan and execute data center migration and modernization workstreams.

Oversee application discovery, dependency mapping, migration planning, risk remediation, and technical/business cutover sequencing.

Ensure cloud readiness and modernization alignment in collaboration with internal engineering and external vendors.

Translate high-level data center/cloud strategies into actionable project plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes.

Communicate project status, metrics, and schedules to stakeholders, managing risks and resolving bottlenecks.

Apply project management standards, processes, and controls for consistent delivery across multiple initiatives.

Report to the Executive Director, Technology Alignment & Resilience, serving as a core partner for data center modernization.

Qualifications Requires 5 years experience managing complex technology projects, especially in infrastructure modernization or cloud migration (AWS preferred).

PMP or similar certification and financial services experience are pluses.

Location Hybrid work; local candidates only (Edina, MN, Seattle, WA, Alpharetta, GA, Boston, MA, or New York, NY).
