Bartender-Full-Service Restaurant (Part-time)

Brooksider is seeking part-time and full-time skilled customer-focused bartenders to join our fast-paced team. In this role, you will prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering excellent service to our guests. You will maintain a clean and organized bar area, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with all local food and alcohol safety regulations. The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills, thrives under pressure, and brings a positive energy to every shift.

Welcome guests, present drink menus, and answer questions about food and beverage offerings.

Mix, pour, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes and house rules.

Check identification to confirm guests meet the minimum legal age for purchasing alcohol.

Take food and drink orders accurately and process payments using the point of sale system.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized bar area, including washing glassware and sanitizing work surfaces.

Monitor guest behavior and responsibly manage intoxication levels in accordance with legal guidelines.

Restock bar inventory, including liquor, beer, wine, ice, garnishes, and paper products.

Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash drawer reconciliation and thorough area cleaning.

Prior experience working as a bartender in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality environment preferred.

In-depth knowledge of classic cocktail recipes, beer, wine, and liquor spirits.

Strong communication and active listening skills with a commitment to high-quality guest service.

Basic math skills and experience operating point-of-sale (POS) terminal software.

Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business demand requires.
