Estimator – Division 10 Specialties

A growing commercial construction firm is seeking a skilled Estimator specializing in Division 10 (Specialties) to support preconstruction and bidding efforts. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a wide range of specialty building products, ensuring scope completeness and alignment with project requirements.

Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for Division 10 scopes, including but not limited to toilet partitions, accessories, lockers, operable partitions, fire protection specialties, and visual display boards

Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop accurate scopes of work

Solicit, review, and level vendor and subcontractor pricing

Identify scope gaps, overlaps, and potential risks, and develop clarifications and exclusions

Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, and suppliers during the bid process

Maintain organized estimate files and update cost databases

Support project handoff to operations upon award

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications

Familiarity with estimating/takeoff software (e.g., Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field

Office-based role with occasional site visits or pre-bid meetings
