Acts as circulating nurse and scrub nurse. Performs specified duties for the set-up and maintenance of surgical areas, equipment and instruments. Performs functions in endoscopy, cystology, orthopedics, vascular, and general surgical cases. Provides relief coverage in PACU.QualificationsGraduate of an approved school of professional nursing.Current and valid NC or compact state license to practice professional nursing.BCLS certified.Incumbent will be required to demonstrate competence in the performance of duties specific to all age groups of patients.Preferred: BSN; MSN; One year of previous experience as an RN; new graduates will be considered.ExperienceOne year of previous experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care unit preferred but not required.
