Our **Tanner, AL** location is an integrated mill manufacturing high quality premium and ultra-premium forged bar and billet products from melt to ship. **TITLE: CHEMIST II****PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE CHEMIST II*** Operate and maintain equipment and participate in the completion of group activities. Group activities include responding to standard requests for chemical analysis whether from the Manufacturing, Technical Services, R&D or from our customers.* Implement approved plans which outline action to support the achievement of defined department goals.* Participate in projects and services, within own function, necessary to support the improvement of existing processes.* Assist in coordinating project results at various stages and implement approved changes in direction as instructed.* Develop and communicate project results through standard technical reports and memoranda.
